Why wait several days and pay a lot more at a shop? I'd definitely recommend Shannon even with a new bike tune-up as they aren't always assembled with precision in mind.

Highest recommendation to Smokey's Mobile Bicycle Repair. I'm used to taking my bike into a bicycle shop and having it "held hostage" for several days to a week while repairs are completed. Smokey's MBR provides a wonderful alternative. Shannon, the owner, came to our house and tuned up five bikes for our family. He adjusted derailleurs, tighten cables, checked brakes, and fixed anything and everything that needed fixing on our bikes. He replaced the chain, chain ring, and cassette for one of the bikes; and replaced the cables and chain on another. Working out of our driveway, Shannon accomplished everything in just over 4 hours. He welcomed our questions and let us watch all that he was doing. Great job! Great experience! Reasonable price! Shannon is a great mechanic, he's professional, and prompt. I've had to call him several times, including having him meet me to fix a flat that I had before a ride. After having a new groupo installed at a local shop I began having a few problems. Shannon came out 3 times and didn't charge until the problem was fixed.
