My newborn son is constipated so I had my husband take him here since I'm still healing from my caesarean section. The nurse tried to tell us it's just gas even though he's struggling and straining to have a bowel movement, and what little he does pass is green and clay like. Definitely too thick for a little over two weeks old. He hasn't actually gotten to see a doctor even though my husband has been bringing him here since he was born on the 23rd of May. No one that works here has any common sense. They didn't even give us any solid advice. We will be switching pediatricians as soon as we can.
My son has been seeing Dr Amer since he was born. So when he moved we followed. Dr. Amer and Kristi Crabtree are absolutely amazing doctors! Their staff is very friendly as well. I recommend them to any child
Had to take our 4&1/2 month old daughter to Children's Hospital after just being at Pediatric Choice yesterday, yet again. Children's Hospital strongly recommended finding new pediatric doctor, saying they see more kids from this office in there then any other. This office tried telling us our 2 month old at the time was having liver failure, took to children's, found out just a soy allergy, this time for a cough and weezing and told she was fine, and a "happy, healthy baby" (just because she didn't cough while she was there), just give her some "little remedies natural" if we were still worried, told by pharmacist that the spores in the honey could kill her at her age, so took to children's, she has a viral upper respiratory infection, croup, and possibly asthma. Pretty sad that multiple pharmacies and even Children's Hospital always guess correctly what pediatric office we go to before we even tell them because they have all said they see more misinformed parents and misdiagnosed children from this office then any other. Don't let the extravagant looks and friendly staff of this office fool you. It's not worth your kids life!
Update: 01/18/2016
Found a new pediatric office at the suggestion of Children's Hospital. Our Daughter also has an ear infection that they said they could see she has had for quite a while. Something Children's Hospital couldn't see because of having to scrap the wax from her ears & them being red from that already. The new office asked if she ever pulled on her ear's, something that at 2 month's old, Pediatric Choice said was her "just finding her ear's" yet screaming about it the entire time. Turns out the actual Pediatrician at Pediatric Choice is a Male, the rest are just nurse practitioners, and nurses... We've not once seen a male working at this office, from August when she was born until now. Do yourself & your kids a favor ask for a referral from Children's. Of course they are going to know who the better pediatrician's are from the patients they see.
Both of my Daughters went Here and every time I would take either one of them it was always viral and would have to run it's course. I took my 10 yr old in December she was running a fever and they said they did a strep test and it was negative so it was just something viral that was on a Mon and she continued to run a fever so Tues morning I took her to the walk In clinic and within a minute her strep was positive. She had her tonsils out for 5yrs ago and the whole time I took her here they said she never had strep in 5yrs but since I been taking her to the walk in clinic she has had strep twice in the past 3 months so it's untelling how many times she had something worse the whole time I was taking her there. Not a good place at all.

I absolutely love this place. Dr. Amer is amazing. I have to take my son to see him every single month and it's always quick in and out. I'm never left sitting in the waiting room or exam room longer than 5 minutes. Dr. Amer makes sure to talk thoroughly through any issues, questions and options you have. Making sure you understand 100% what's going on and what to expect. I've never been to a doctors office who took this much time on 1 patient. If you ever have a question and call the nurses station if they don't answer immediately Tammy always calls back within a hour and is eager to help! I would give more stars if possible!
