Very beautiful park with a beautiful veiw of the water.
Old men stay around this park asking ppl of they want to have "fun" .
Rockin the docks is suppose be a free event but they want a $5 payment from every vehicle! Wow!!!!!
I love this park. It has beautiful views. There are playground areas, sheds for group picnics with built-in grills, single picnic tables, tennis court, a boat ramp, a dock you can walk along or go fishing, clean public restrooms, etc... Its a great place to bring the family.
This is a fairly large park in Lenoir City right on the shores of a beautiful lake that was made when TVA built Fort Loudon Dam. Most of it is shaded and there are many picnic shelters, a children's playground, a sand volleyball court, two tennis courts, and they are building a dog park. The area is usually not very crowded except during special occasions. Attached to the park is a large cemetery, Calhoun's (a local restaurant chain), and a marina. This park is a nice place to go to get some peace and quiet. I just wouldn't linger around at dusk as I have seen a few "shady characters" around.
