Bought a home that Servicemaster had cleaned up and rebuilt after it had caught fire. Several things were poorly done. The back deck has a metal roof with the rafters exposed underneath. They left charred and burnt rafters in place and just fastened new rafters next to them. The doors throughout the home that were replaced were poorly installed and either stick, open on their own or close on their own. Additionally, the trim on the doors and windows differs through the home. I've recently cut into the basement stairwell wall to do some minor electrical and the back side of the sheetrock was charred and the wall cavity smelled of smoke.
