I was served severely under cooked chicken. They did make another piece of chicken for me that was cooked completely. The manager apologized, but did not comp the meal.
We arrived at a peak time, the parking lot was full. However, we were immediately seated at a table of choice.
Biting into a piece of raw chicken was gross and ruined my dinner. This was an unpleasant experience that exposed me to health risks. Having to pay for it added insult to injury.

Cracker barrel in Lenoir city used to be really good, but our experience was not great by any means. It was disappointing. Service was very slow and the manager was not professional at all. The food took over 30 minutes with no apology and it was slow. The server never bussed our table . we won't be back. We at one time were long time regulars there, but over the last year or so it seems so run down. The food was not even hot when we got it.
The coffee and water came quickly. Our meals were delivered promptly. The staff gave attention to detail: I received the honey, pepper vinegar, ketchup and extra napkins upon request.
We were back on the road in no time, fully satisfied. Thank you Cracker Barrel!
Our waitress had four stars on her apron, and has worked for Cracker Barrel for 17 years. This unit has low personnel turnover because management values their employees.
